Our curated works
The design concept is based on the Tripitaka, the teaching of Buddha. Every piece of work represents dharma. The temple was covered by sculptures focusing on traditional heritage with a modern twist.
The challenge is the workload that outnumbered our skilled artists and workers. To solve the problem, we used freshly cement sculpting techniques and concrete blasting machines to improve efficiency.
“Gods Gathering“ is a series of sculptures at Pa Huay Lad Temple. The idea was to resemble the Hindu-Buddhism heaven and to enhance the architecture of the temple which is surrounded by green hills, a beautiful lake, and a foggy heavenlike atmosphere.
The massive 10-meters statue of Goddess of Guanyin and her guardians is another interesting attraction created by using the concrete blasting machine to form the body structure then sculpted the detail when the cement was still fresh.
These conceptualized sculpture pieces are commissioned by ASSET WORLD CORP to decorate the entrance hall. The concept of this series was to interconnect each vintage Chinese coin to form a round sphere-like shape as the coin represents the symbol of prosperity and wealth.
The complex crafting process started from creating coin models to make the molds, then casted and assembled them together. Although the main material is fiberglass, the surface is also mixed with brass coins creating an interesting unique texture when light reflects off the surface.
